Changelog
What's new in Stormi
Every change worth knowing about, newest first.
The marketplace
- Browse bots other people published, by category, and add a copy to your team in a tap. Your copy signs in to your own tools; whoever made it never sees your chats.
- Publish your own bots for anyone to add.
- Links on stormi.yaps.gg open the matching bot in the app.
- Rate Stormi, the Terms, and the Privacy Policy are now in Settings.
Stormi, by name
- The app is now Stormi, with a new icon: a daisy against a painted blue sky.
- Redesigned bot avatars, and you can generate or import your own.
- A guide to adding Stormi's widgets, and to setting up the Action button.
- Bots that other bots set up show up as soon as they exist.
Ask a bot from anywhere, and bring your own models
- Hold the Action button to ask a bot about what's on your screen. Its answer shows in a card.
- Connect your own OpenRouter account in Settings, so bots run on your credits.
- A Usage screen: spend, requests, and tokens by day, bot, and model.
- Add any plugin by its MCP server's address.
- Always Approve for plugins you trust, with a switch to turn it off.
Bots on the server
- Bots now run on Stormi's server, so they keep working with the app closed or your phone off.
- Real plugins: sign in to each on the service's own page and choose which bots use it.
- New Lock Screen widgets, Needs You and At Work, and a Dynamic Island that shows the bot, its timer, and its current step.
- Browse models by provider, with a spec sheet for each one.
- Bots feel present: they come online, notice your reactions, and talk like people.
Chat that feels like Messages
- Mention other bots with @, and tap a name to open that bot's chat.
- Reply to a message with a quote, react with a double tap, and select text.
- Attach photos, preview them full screen, and swipe left to see message times.
- Sign in with Apple, a profile card, and a Notifications screen with per-alert switches.
